Do I need to buy extra accessories for the FetalPlus Air™ to work?

No, you don’t need to purchase any additional accessories. The FetalPlus Air™ comes with everything you need right out of the box, including flanges in multiple sizes (18mm, 21mm, 24mm). You're all set to start using the pump as soon as you receive it—no need for extra purchases or hassle.

What flange sizes do you offer? How will I know if they'll fit?

The FetalPlus Air™ comes with flanges in three different sizes: 18mm, 21mm, and 24mm. The default size is 27mm. To help you choose the right fit, we provide a measuring card that allows you to accurately determine which size flange will be most comfortable and effective for you. If you're unsure, you can use the measuring card to find the best size before using the pump, ensuring a better, more personalized fit for your pumping experience.

What is the maximum suction level?

The FetalPlus Air™ offers an industry-leading maximum suction level of 450 mmHg, making it one of the most powerful wearable pumps available. This high suction power ensures efficient milk expression, helping you pump more milk in less time.

How many ounces of milk does the collection cup hold?

Each cup holds 180ml / 6oz of milk.

How many modes and intensity settings does the FetalPlus Air™ offer?

The FetalPlus Air™ features 3 modes and 12 adjustable intensity settings. This range allows you to fully customize your pumping experience, whether you prefer a gentler suction or need stronger power for faster milk expression. These settings give you the flexibility to choose the best combination for comfort and efficiency.

Can I purchase with HSA / FSA cards?

Yes, you can! FetalPlus accepts HSA/FSA payments. Alternatively, pay with another card and submit your receipt to your plan administrator for reimbursement (at the discretion of your provider). If you need a PDF invoice, simply flick us an email and we'll help you with it.

Do I need a special bra to use the FetalPlus Air™ breast pump?

While you don’t need a specific bra, we do recommend using a nursing bra that’s not too loose or too tight. This helps the pump fit securely and comfortably in your bra for the best hands-free experience. A well-fitting nursing bra will ensure the pump stays in place while you move around, making your pumping sessions more efficient and comfortable.

What materials are the parts made of?

The collection cup is made from premium BPA-free Tritan plastic, known for its durability and heat resistance. The other parts, such as the flanges and seals, are made from food-grade silicone, ensuring they are soft, safe, and comfortable for everyday use.

How do I clean & sterilize my FetalPlus Air™ pump?

All parts, except the motor, are washable. They are dishwasher-safe so you can simply clean them with your dishwasher.

Clean washable components

1.Rinse and wash by hand, use a exclusive wash basin for your baby feeding items.

2.Rinse or wash these parts with cold and clear drinking-level water (approx.20°C/68°F), or with warm and soapy water (approx. 30°C/86°F).

3.Use the washing agent without artificial fragrances or coloring.

4.Check carefully to check whether there is any contamination. If it does, please repeat the clean process as above again until there is no contamination.

5.After wash or rinse, air dry these parts on a clean and unused towel, paper towel or cloth.

Sterilize washable components

1.Boil the parts in water for at least 5 minutes. Please don’t use tap water.

2.After disinfection, air dry these parts on a clean and unused towel, paper towel or cloth.

3.When the parts are dry, store them in a clean storage bag and in a clean environment.

4.Please don’t use a steamer or a microwave sterilizer to disinfect these parts, because the high temperature may cause deformation of them. All the ultraviolet products are not recommended to be used to sterile this product.

*Warning

1. please always disinfect in accordance with the instruction in this manual.

2.Before assembly, all the parts must be completely dry.

3.Do not store any part which is not dry in an airtight container.

What should I do if my FetalPlus Air™ pump is leaking?

If you experience leakage, here are a few troubleshooting tips:

1. Check Flange Fit: Ensure you're using the correct flange size. An improper fit can cause milk to leak during pumping.

2. Proper Assembly: Double-check that all parts are correctly assembled and securely fastened. Loose connections can cause leakage.

3. Check Milk Container: Ensure that the milk collection container is properly sealed and not overfilled, as this can lead to leaks.

4. Correct Membrane Installation: Make sure the membrane is installed with the convex side facing down. Incorrect positioning can result in poor suction and leakage.

If the leakage persists, reach out to our Customer Care Team for assistance.

Is the FetalPlus Air™ pump quiet when pumping?

Yes, the FetalPlus Air™ operates at a noise level of just 40dB. This whisper-quiet operation ensures that you can pump discreetly without drawing attention, whether you're at home or on the go.

Can I return my FetalPlus Air™ pump if I change my mind?

The FetalPlus Air™ wearable breast pump is considered an intimate product. For hygiene and safety reasons, it can only be used by one person. Once the tamper seal is broken, the product cannot be returned to us or a retailer unless it is faulty. Please refer to our Refund Policy for complete details about your rights.

For your peace of mind, the FetalPlus Air™ comes with a 12-month warranty. Our Customer Care Team is also available to support you throughout your pumping journey.

I'm struggling with suction. Troubleshooting and best practices?

If you're experiencing suction issues with your FetalPlus Air™ pump, follow these troubleshooting tips and best practices:

1. Ensure Proper Fit: Make sure you’re using the correct flange size. The FetalPlus Air™ comes with flanges in multiple sizes (18mm, 21mm, 24mm, and 27mm). Use the provided measuring card to find the best fit for optimal suction.

2. Correct Membrane Installation: When installing the membrane, ensure the convex side is facing down. Incorrect installation can affect suction efficiency.

3. Check for Assembly Issues: Verify that all parts are assembled securely. Loose or misaligned components can weaken suction.

4. Inspect for Blockages: Check that the tubes and pump parts are clean and free of blockages. Any buildup could disrupt the suction power.

5. Use Lubrication: A small amount of breast pump lubricant or coconut oil around the flanges can help create a better seal, enhancing suction.

5. Adjust the Settings: Experiment with the 12 gears and 3 modes to find the best settings for your comfort and milk flow. Different modes may work better for different needs.

6. Ensure a Good Seal: Make sure the flanges are centered over your nipple with a secure seal for the strongest suction.

If these steps don’t resolve the issue, please contact our Customer Care Team for additional support.

How to securely close the collection cup?

If you’re having trouble getting the front and rear of your FetalPlus Air™ collection cup to close tightly, we recommend pressing both the left and right sides of the cup simultaneously to ensure an even seal. Avoid closing one side first, as this can cause one side to lift and may reduce suction due to an incomplete connection. There should be a click sound when it’s completely clicked in.

I find it difficult removing the air chamber?

If you find it difficult to remove the air chamber from the front, simply push it out from the back through the other side of the milk collection cup
