At home fetal dopplers are actually quite easy to use and understand. A fetal doppler is used to listen to a baby’s heartbeat while it is still in the womb. By using ultrasound technology, a fetal doppler heartbeat monitor sends high frequency sound waves into your abdomen. When the sound waves encounter movement, such as your baby’s heartbeat, it sends a signal back to the device through the handheld probe. The signal is then translated into a sound which is then amplified so you can hear it.

Fetalplus at-home fetal doppler is designed to track your baby’s heartbeat from the first trimester, as early as 9 weeks.
When choosing a fetal doppler, it is important to choose a quality product with the highest standard of safety and accuracy. The FetalPlus At-home Fetal Doppler has obtained FDA clearance. It also has the best accuracy among at home fetal dopplers( ± 2 BPM: Beat Per Minute).
STEP 1
Place the 2 x AA Batteries inside FetalPlus at-home fetal doppler.
Connect the doppler probe wire to the main device.
Lie down comfortably with your back down on a flat surface.
Expose your abdomen like you would during a regular ultrasound.
Using the FetalPlus while you have a full bladder can make the heart-beat easier to hear.
STEP 2
Switch on the device from the power button
Use the doppler probe to move around your lower belly until you find a strong sound of your babyʼs heartbeat.
Since the gel will reduce static, use a generous amount.
STEP 3
Starting from your pubic bone, gently glide the probe upwards towards your belly button. Slowly rock the probe, covering every part of your stomach so that you find the heartbeat.
If after a few minutes you cannot find your baby, shut the device off and try another time. You may need to wait for the baby to grow bigger or switch posi-tions.
You can read the heart rate at the display monitor with the heartbeat sound.
You can increase/ decrease the volume from the volume controller.
You can also switch between the BPM reading mode to the curve chart mode.
STEP 4
After you've finished, clean off the probe to avoid any build-up.
You may choose to wipe it with 70% ethanol and then let it air dry or simply wipe it with a clean, dry cloth.
Do not submerge the device in water (except waterproof models) or apply cleaning chemicals.
A typical fetal heart rate is between 120 and 160 beats per minute (BPM). It does vary greatly based on a wide range of factors including movement, sleep cycles and other baby activity.

FetalPlus 3.0 Wearable Breast Pump
Here are some of the most commonly asked questions about our breast pumps. Don't forget, you can always reach out to our friendly staff via the live chat window if you have any questions or concerns.
Finding the right size is key to maximize comfort and output. We offer 24mm by default, which fits 95% of moms. If you measure smaller than 24mm, we offer flange inserts in three sizes (17mm, 19mm, and 21mm) that snap into our 24mm flanges and containers.
Our Breast Shields are sized based on the width of the base of your nipple before a pumping session . You can measure the width of the base of your nipple with a ruler. The Breast Shield sizes are as follows:
Base of nipple width between approximately 18mm and 21mm = 24mm breast shield
Base of nipple width between approximately 16mm and 18mm = 21mm breast shield
Base of nipple width between approximately 14mm and 16mm = 19mm breast shield
Base of nipple width between approximately 12mm and 14mm = 17mm breast shield
Each cup holds 180ml / 6oz of milk.
The FetalPlus 3.0 wearable breastpump has a pumping mode, a massage mode and a mixed mode, as well as 9 intensity levels so you can find the level that is most comfortable and efficient for you.

FetalPlus 3.0 works best with a bra that provides a supportive, snug fit to hold it in place. It needs to be firmly pressed against your breast, there should be no gaps between the breast pump and your breast. We recommend wearing a full-coverage nursing bra that’s stretchy and has a flap. Avoid bras with underwire or padding.
The duckbill valve normally lasts 3-6 months. Two duckbill valves are included in the package. And we have duckbill valve replacements for you to order when it comes the time to replace them. Click here to order.
The components are made of either food-grade PP material or food-grade silicone. Thus, they are lead-free, BPA/BPS free, PVC and phthalates free. The shields and flanges are made of soft food-grade silicone, which provides a soft touch on your skin.
All parts, except the main pump unit, are washable. They are dishwasher-safe so you can simply clean them with your dishwasher.
Clean washable components
1.Rinse and wash by hand, use a exclusive wash basin for your baby feeding items.
2.Rinse or wash these parts with cold and clear drinking-level water (approx.20°C/68°F), or with warm and soapy water (approx. 30°C/86°F).
3.Use the washing agent without artificial fragrances or coloring.
4.Check carefully to check whether there is any contamination. If it does, please repeat the clean process as above again until there is no contamination.
5.After wash or rinse, air dry these parts on a clean and unused towel, paper towel or cloth.
Sterilize washable components
1.Boil the parts in water for at least 5 minutes. Please don’t use tap water.
2.After disinfection, air dry these parts on a clean and unused towel, paper towel or cloth.
3.When the parts are dry, store them in a clean storage bag and in a clean environment.
4.Please don’t use a steamer or a microwave sterilizer to disinfect these parts, because the high temperature may cause deformation of them. All the ultraviolet products are not recommended to be used to sterile this product.
*Warning
1. please always disinfect in accordance with the instruction in this manual.
2.Before assembly, all the parts must be completely dry.
3.Do not store any part which is not dry in an airtight container.
FetalPlus 3.0 provides a maximum suction level of 280 mmHg, a top-in-class suction level for a personal-grade pump that offers a gentle and steady suction and does not compress the breast tissue and hinder milk flow.
First of all, check whether the sitting posture is correct. The correct sucking posture is to sit sucking, lean forward 45 degrees, and keep the container upright after sucking. In addition, parts are also recommended to be replaced within 3 to 6 months.
Here’s how to troubleshoot Fetalplus 3.0’s leak problems:
(1) Leaking from silicone:
If the leak is coming from the edge of the silicone, your silicone might not be snapped in all the way. It’s also possible that your silicone is faulty or warped. **PLEASE NOTE** heat sterilizing or placing FetalPlus 3.0’s washable parts in the microwave oven are not recommended.
(2) Leaking from motor or collection cup:
If the leak is coming from between the motor and collection cup, it’s possible that the collection cup and/or motor aren’t fully secured. Another possibility is that the collection cup is cracked and the pressure from the suction is overflowing through the crack.
The solution, keep the correct posture, and then stick it with tape
(3) Leaking from the milk pour hole:
If the leak is coming from the pour hole, make sure the silicone shield notch and the collection cup notch are aligned when snapping the pieces together. If the holes aren’t aligned, leaking is likely through the hole(s).
(4) Leaking from flange hole:
If the leak is coming from the flange hole, it could be caused by leaning back too far. It’s also possible that your duckbill needs to be replaced if the slit is opened and allowing milk to travel back up, and into the flange during strong movements.
Other tips
take out the pump: Tilt it forward 45 degrees and take it out. If it is a nursing bra, it is best to untie the detachable clip. When there is enough space to take it out, it will not touch the silicone flange.
pour milk: flange entrance upward
The FetalPlus is relatively whisper-quiet during pumping and emits a faint sound under 45db. This means you can use the pump in the office or home without attracting any attention.

I'm struggling with suction. Troubleshooting and best practices?
Firstly, please follow the attached self-check video and make sure all parts are put together correctly. As the pumps will not work if the parts are not in the place they are supposed to be. If all parts are correctly installed, then it comes down to the flange sizes.
The proper fit of the flange is crucial to ensuring comfort and optimal output while pumping. Our standard flange size is 24mm, which fits the majority of moms (95%). However, for those who measure smaller than 24mm, we offer flange inserts in three sizes (17mm, 19mm, and 21mm) that can be easily snapped into our 24mm flanges and containers. The correct flange size can be determined by measuring the width of the base of your nipple with a ruler prior to pumping. The breast shield sizes are as follows:
-Base of nipple width between approximately 18mm and 21mm = 24mm breast shield
-Base of nipple width between approximately 16mm and 18mm = 21mm breast shield
-Base of nipple width between approximately 14mm and 16mm = 19mm breast shield
-Base of nipple width between approximately 12mm and 14mm = 17mm breast shield
Testing the suction of your breast pump is a simple process that can be done using the following steps, along with the attached video example:
a. Turn on the pump and switch it to suction mode (indicated by a water drop icon on the control panel). Set the gear to the highest level (9 out of 9).
b. Place the pump head against your arm and test the suction.
c. If the pump is working properly, you should feel it and see light marks on your arm, as demonstrated in the attached video.
Suction Strength: The Fetalplus 3.0 features three modes – pumping, massage, and mix mode, with 9 suction levels to imitate a baby's natural suckling pattern. If the suction feels too strong, kindly reduce the gear. Most moms find gear 4 or 5 sufficient for their needs.
