How do I download the FetalPlus Home app?

The FetalPlus Home app is a mobile application designed to be used with the FetalPlus Baby Sleep Breathing Monitor. What should I do if the Baby Sleep Breathing Monitor fails to pair with the Wireless Gateway?

Please follow the troubleshooting steps below:

- Make sure the Baby Sleep Breathing Monitor is NOT added to the device list on the App before the Wireless Gateway is added

- Make sure the blue indicator light on your Wireless Gateway is flashing

- Long press the power button of the baby breathing monitor until the green status light constantly flashes, which means the pairing state is turned on.

How do I customize the alarms?

Choose the baby monitor from the device list on your app. Then click the settings icon on the top right corner of your screen. From there, you can individually turn alarmson/off, set alarm intervals, and set temperature zone for chill/heat alarms.

i.e. Your baby always sleep on stomach. Simply turn off the rollover alarm and keep others on.

To switch all alarms on/off, simply click the 'alarm on/off' button.

What if my home WiFi does not have a seperated 2.4GHz network?

The FetalPlus Baby Sleep Breathing Monitor and the Wireless Smart Gateway should all be operated under a 2.4GHz network. Please make sure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz network instead of the 5GHz network.

Don't panic if your network does not split 2.4GHz and 5GHz. All modern wireless routers offer both frequencies, and your FetalPlus Baby Sleep Breathing Monitor and the Wireless Smart Gateway will automatically use the 2.4GHz network.

Can I use it with cloth diapers or sleep sack?

The material of diapers would not impact things in any way, as long as the baby monitor is clipped tightly in an upright position. Being clipped inside is absolutely fine as well! The only thing to note is that temperate inside the sleep sack may be a few degrees higher than room temperature, so when setting your temperate alarms, you might want to move the allowed zone up by a few degrees. But that's really it.

My monitor turns itself off?

The reason behind the monitor turning off unexpectedly is related to the strength and stability of the connection between the baby monitor and the wireless smart gateway. To prevent this issue, it's important to place the wireless smart gateway in the same room as the baby monitor. When these two components are too far apart, the Bluetooth connection can weaken, leading to interruptions in data transmission and, ultimately, causing the monitor to power off as part of its power-saving feature.

To maintain an uninterrupted connection, we recommend repositioning the wireless smart gateway to the baby's room or a central location within your home. This ensures a strong and stable Bluetooth connection between the two devices. If you're still encountering issues, please reach out to our customer support team, and we'll be more than happy to provide further assistance.

Can both parents check on the baby from different phones?

Yes, absolutely! Please download the FetalPlus Home app and follow the below steps to add home members.

Please kindly follow the below steps:

1. Go to your app's top left-hand corner and select your home, then click on 'Home Management.'

2. Choose 'Add Member' and enter the new member's account information. This new member can have either member or admin access.

3. The new member you've invited should accept the invitation via their app (located at the top left-hand side under 'Homes' as well).

4. Once the invitation is accepted, you can begin sharing devices within the same home, granting both phones access to the baby monitor.

Where should the FetalPlus Baby Sleep Breathing Monitor be worn?

Clip the FetalPlus Baby Sleep Breathing Monitor onto your baby's sleepwear (diaper / pants / etc.), right next to their belly button to accurately pick up abdominal movements. Snug fit sleepwear is essential for accurate monitoring.

How do I receive pushed notification and alerts on my phone?

- Make sure the 'alarm switch' is turned on under device settings on the FetalPlus Home app.

- You can customize what alarms you would like to turn on.

- Make sure that you have notifications enabled on your phone's system level.

Getting incorrect movement and sleep position notifications

Orientation: please make sure the logo side is facing towards the air.

Proper Placement: Align the logo on the device in the same direction as your child's body. Attach the FetalPlus Baby Sleep Breathing Monitor to your child's waist, right next to the belly button.

Sleep Position Notifications: If you are receiving notifications indicating that your baby is on their stomach when they are actually on their back, try reinstalling the sensor's battery. This will restart the device and may resolve the issue.

Slow Breathing Notifications: If you are receiving notifications for slow Breathing (less than 8 per minute) when your baby is fine, ensure that the FetalPlus Baby Sleep Breathing Monitor is clipped properly, right next to your baby's belly button. It is important to use snug-fitting clothes for accurate monitoring. Loose-fitting sleepwear may cause the monitor to lose contact with the baby and trigger false alarms.

If the sensor is securely clipped and you are still experiencing issues, you can try reinstalling the sensor's battery or turning off the Movement Notification button and turning it on again.
